Hi All,

I've a friend ,who is PR in Canada and doing full time job . He want to sponsor his sister, brother in law and 2 children for tourist visa ( stay will be less than 20 days )

There is road accident case is running on his brother in law , but as such there is no restriction to him to go outside INDIA.

Could you please advise, what documents ( especially from his brother in law ) my friend need to ask in order to sponsor them ?

Please help. Thanks

Your friends Sister (and family) will need to qualify for a TRV on their own. All your friend can do is supply a letter of support during the visit. If his Brother-in-law has charges pending against him that correlate to a criminal offence in Canada, it is likely his application will be refused. What are the charges against him currently?

Edit: After reading your other post, given someone was killed, I doubt his brother-in-law will be granted a visa, pending the outcome of the trial.

Not sure where you got this from: 'there is no restriction to him to go outside INDIA'

Of course, there are restrictions on your friend's brother-in-law traveling abroad or even within India itself. He has probably been charged with 'culpable homicide not amounting to murder'. He would need to seek court permission to travel and most likely will be refused
