Hello. I need your advise as fast as possible. I'll tell you a little story before I post my question.
So I've worked with a canadian citizen online ( with an freelance website, I made a website for him). When all the payments were made he offered me a work in canada (quebec), so I thought, why not, I'd be gladly working in Canada ( and it has actually been my dream to go to canada for couple of years already). When I agreed, he asked for all my information so I sent them. For about 2 month he's been telling me that either his lawyer or his consultant or his someone was out of town and suddenly few hours ago he called me and told me to send him either a thousand dollars or few more ( I could not hear him well) to get started with all the process.
Now my question is : How real does this sound? Considering that I'm a student at faculty of law and have zero qualification as a programmer (the area of job he's offering is programming/web developing, I'm just self taught and can make really good websites) and also the fact that he asked me to send him money disturbs me as well and also the fact that I don't have that amount now, tell me how real can all this be? Is he trying to scam me or can this be for real? Does it really cost few thousands (or maybe just one) for him to start application process. Please tell me as fast as you can because I should call me tomorrow and tell him my answer.
