Need Urgent Help With Proof Of Funds!!!!

Hi Gurus,

Can someone help me with Proof of Funds query where i had to get my name added in my wife's canadian bank account 10days ago ( on 1st March) as i had less then 14K in my account. Me and My wife both are applying for immigration together and we both are employed in Canada on work permit.

Question: I am planning to show my wife salary account as our Joint account(by getting my name added as i am principal applicant) against proof of funds. Is it an issue if i don't show when i got added into her account??? our 6 monthly history which i got from bank doesnt show my date of joining her account or account creation dates.

Question: Also is it sufficient if i show NOC from my wife that i can use her funds from immigration purpose. Is anything else required in this matter

As long as you and your wife are the primary applicant and co-applicant, you can show the funds in your account and the funds in the joint account as proof of funds for your PR application. For the joint account where your wife's salary is credited, you can take a self declaration from your wife stating that she is the co-applicant in the PR application and the funds in the mentioned account are to be used for migration purposes and she has no objection for the same.

You don't need to show when you were added into joint account. I did exactly what you are doing without showing the date of joining.
