Need urgent Help for query about Spouse's Passport

Hello Everyone,

I want to apply for Canada immigration FSWP. My all documents are ready but My wife's passport is under reissuing process and we are waiting for it.

Some Visa consultants has advised me to apply for Canada immigration FSWP with Spouse's Passport applied status. Attached My wife's old passport and Reissue fee receipt from Passport office then CIC will accept application.

Will CIC accept my application in which it is mentioned that my wife's passport is applied and we will send you once it is receiced ?

Please advise so that I can proceed with my FSWP application.

Hi,

If your wife's current passport is still valid, you can apply with that passport information and later on can update CIC with the newly issued passport information. Otherwise, you have to wait for the new passport to be issued and then apply to CIC.

My wife's old passport is no more valid as it is cancelled at time of requesting for reissue.

Can I still apply with my wife's old passport ?

Is there anyone who have faced similar situation ? please guide me.

You can't apply with a cancelled passport.
