Dear all

Please need urgent assistance.

I have my old application ( Sept. 2006) filled via consultant . In old application my job title was Retail Chemist & NOC code was : 3131 with same job duties & responsibilities.

As in my new application Which is still to dispatch... My job title is Retail Pharmacist & NOC :3131 with no change in job duties & roles.

Do you think that because of change in job title ...there will be problem ? What do you suggest me ???

Need your urgent help ...

Regards,
Mayank

As long as you refer to different employment periods, I guess there are no issues. If you mean that you put two different titles for the same job post during the same period, then yes, you will have an issue unless you prove these titles with official letters.

You need to provide a reference letter by your employer, in which job titles have to be explained. If you think this is not possible, try to add an explanation letter. It's important to avoid any misrepresentation.

Look, I personally tend to think that CIC is pretty interested about the duties and experience of the job rather than the title, as titles change per country, company...etc. I don't think this is a showstopper.

Let's see what other members have to say.

Good luck

Get a letter from your employer that From this date to this date you was working as XYZ with ABC duties, then From this date to this date you was working as AAA with ABC duties, means your employer will issue you a letter mentioning change of designation but with same duties and responsibilities.

Hope it work.
