Need to understand documents to be submitted to WES

Dear all,

I'm trying to understand the process and documents required to evaluate my B.Tech degree from WES for the ECA report.This is what I learnt from the portal.

1. Create login to the WES portal
2. Complete the application for ECA and get the reference number
3. Get the photocopies attested from controller of examinations from the university and put them in an envelope with seal on back flap.
4. Send the envelope to the WES address as mentioned in the portal.

Can somebody correct the steps mentioned above if needed and also clarify if I can submit transcripts of each semester/year along with provisional certificate or is it mandatory to provide sealed photocopies from university. Kindly clarify.

All the steps are correct. It is mandatory to include the WES Reference number on the envelop and it should be stamped and signed by the University.
Either the University can seal the envelop with the documents enclodes OR the university can hand you over the Signed and sealed envelop and you personally enclose the documents within and then courier it to WES.

You can either send the originals or photocopies of the tranacripts. If you have two original sets of transcripts, then you can send one set to WES.
I had sent one original set of Transcripts to WES.

University will not glue the envelope you gave them..they will attest your documents and put seal/stamp+signature on your envelope.

you have to add the documents in the same envelope with a list of documents enclosed (to be on a safer side), glue and seal it and send it.

what you need is:
Legible copy of degree (no need for attestation)
Marksheets/transcripts issued by university (attested by university and sealed by university)
Transcripts issued by college (on college letter head, attested by college and sealed by college)

NOTE : before you seal it make sure you write the ECA reference number on each document that you enclose! and also on the sealed envelopes.

Thank you guys for prompt response.

I have transcripts for marks memo for each sem/year, provisional certificate for degree. Should I also have to send them transcript for original degree or provisional certificate would suffice the need.
