Need to repeat medical exam but no new IME number

Hi all,

My Visa has been approved but my medicals have expired. The medical centre insists to obtain a new IME number for repetition of the upfront medical exam.
I wonder if the UCI number can be used to link my new medical reports in to the IRCC system.
How do I go about it?
