Need the advice before take the decision!!!plz help

Dear Team,

I am from India my husband is in Canada as a student i would like to apply for TRV.

I have an doubt what would be the duration of TRV as same as my hubby.

One thing my husband TRV is going to expire on 31/3/14 but further he will extend it , and i am going to apply in Nov'13.

I have heard from someone is it mandatory to have main applicant at least 6 month visa. But his visa is left now for 5 months.

Above written thing is true or not.

Still i am eligible to apply the TRV or not.

Your all reply will be appreciated.

Even if they give you visa that expires the same time that your husband's student visa expires, you will be able to extend your TRV. If I were you, I would request 6-month visa. Your husband can write Invitation Letter and mention the fact that he will extend his student visa.
