Need Suggestion

Here is my situation :

I've booked my travel for India on 06-NOV-2015 and Return 13-DEC-2015.

My current open work permit is expiring on 13-Jan-2016 and I've not yet the done TRV and my passport is expiring on 05-FEB-2016. (I believe now I need to renew my passport to get TRV as Passport not valid for Six month).Is that correct ?


Also, My application for Permanent Residency is In -progress past 14th Months (Applied in 25th July 2014 under CEC ). So I might get temporary visa request for PR anytime now. Question ? Does 6 month passport validity required for temporary visa stamping for PR ?


Please suggest what is the best thing to do right now


Renew Passport now ? then go India in Nov then do Visa stamping in India to come back in DEC. Question ? What if I get temporary visa request based on PR at the same timing when I send my Visa request to consulate for TRV in India based on current work permit (expiring on 13-JAN-2015) .

u can apply for TRV and get TRV till 13-Jan-2016.

You will not get passport request for PR, they will ask you to renew your passport and send them a copy, after that CIC is going to send you passport request for PR
