Hi,
I am currently residing in Netherlands for last 3 years. I have got a job offer from March 2013 in Alberta Canada initially for a year and then would be extended 2 more years. My wife is with me almost a year here. We are planning to apply for work permit and Visa probably in end of September. I have some question regarding visa. My wife is almost 2 months pregnant and we are expecting to born our baby somewhere end of March.
i) Would it be needed for us undergo medical examination as we are living in Netherlands almost a year?
ii) Would pregnancy of wife delay her visa?
iii) Would embassy ask her to apply her visa after baby is born?
iv) As my job start from March and we will be under health coverage under the employer from March, Can we go to Canada around January as she will be almost in the time of delivery in March and may be then take a private insurance for January and February?
It would be very nice if anyone can answer my questions. Thank you very much in advance.
