Need suggestion, ECAS not updated even after 6 weeks since the medicals uploaded

Hi All,

Mine is also a March application. Got the AOR on March 10th.
Got medicals request on Sept 18th.
Electronically Uploaded the all medicals(family of four) on Nov 12th.

But still ECAS is NOT updated with "medicals received".
Its been more than 6 weeks. By this Jan 12th, it will be two months since the medicals are uploaded.
Do you think is it normal? or Do I need to send an email to CIC?

Please suggest.

I was in the same situation than you for a while, but CIC did reply back to me saying that my medicals weren't received. If something like that would had happened to you, they had contacted you right away. So, request GCMS notes and check whether your medicals are still under review or ECAS is not showing the status properly but you passed the examination.

Moreover, searching this forum for a while I came across a response from CIC that someone received where it clearly said that ECAS "medicals received" happens when your medicals are approved. Which I hardly doubt that it's true even though it came from CIC. If someone is able to chime in and add some comments based on your experience, would be great.

I am in same situation, medical results were uploaded electronically on 27th Nov. Moreover, recently CIC replied back to me said received my medicals however no status update in ECAS. I am guessing our medicals might be in review stage before reflected in ECAS. I wish this New year bring joyous for all of us with PPR email soon..
