Need suggestion about interview at buffalo

Hi guys,
I had received a letter on January 18,2011 that I need to appear for an interview and since then there is no communication from Canadian embassy at Buffalo. I am student in USA and my wife (Canadian PR) has sponsored me and she is about 6 months pregnant. Should I send an email to Buffalo office stating that my wife is pregnant and I want to be with her during these critical days and ask them to speed up my application.
Please give me an exert advice whether or not I should do this.

Unfortunately pregnancy does not speed up an application. All you can do is wait.

Please do not use other peoples interviews experiance as basis for your own. All interviews are different. I was interviewed at buffalo when i applied for PR under skilled category and was denied although i provided all the evidence i missed the qualifying by one point!!!

A couple of things stand out, why wasnt chatlogs and phone records included with your application this is primary evidence.

Another thing please get your CAIPS or foss notes before going i was grilled for 2 and half hours during my interview and was denied. Remember it is your job to prove your relationship is genuine that is the reason why you have been called in for an interview. Bring all evidence with you as i was told off by the IO for not bringing certain items with me when i went. Even if you have to carry it back at least you have it with you. Be prepared read your application you submitted.

When i went to buffalo i saw many people getting visas in their passports the same day and thought the same would happen to me this sadly was not the case.

You must also prove that your marriage is not about convenience which i hope and i am sure it is not.

The IO will ask about your time spent in the states and will try to say that you want entry to canada because of lack of jobs in the states and is a good career move for you etc. Questions they will ask you may lead you do not follow. Answer truthfully and nothing will happen, start lying and covering up and they will pick it apart. This is what they have been trained to do. IT is their full time job. Remember it is your first interview but they have done this a thousand times before. They have met with genuine cases and Scammers and they know which ones are which.

Expect the question Why doesnt your wife want to come to the states?
