Need suggession about Birth Certificate for Indian Citizen.

Hi Friends,

Now I am preparing my CEC application.
I have one confusion about Birth Certificate (Indian Citizen). Unfortunately I don't have it.
Is it applicable to submit Certificate of Date of Birth which I can get from Indian Consulate Toronto ?
Does CIC accept this certificate?
It would be great helpful if anyone from India can share his experience.

go to indian consulate torronto web site ,

download the apllication forms

fill up and submit the application with required documents alongwith proper fee through VFS.

it will take 6 weeks to come .

You mean to say CEC accept Certificate of DOB ?
