Need some Inputs on my Scenario- Visitor Visa or PR ?

Hi,

I need some information or thoughts regarding to get my spouse to Canada.

Am on Work permit and currently working as a Full time. I have married last year July 2016 and due to some family problems i can't able to get my spouse here to Canada.
Now am planning to bring her. Can i apply for Visitor visa (Dependent visa) or i have to Apply for the PR ? I guess PR might take more than 6 months.

Is there chances for visitor visa to be approved ? If so Please let me know what all the supporting documents i need to provide them?

Or is there any category to apply SOWP (Spouse open work permit)- If so let me kn ow the process please.

There is no category as a Dependent Visitor Visa.

or i have to Apply for the PR ?

Have you received an ITA under Express Entry? As you are a WP, you cannot apply for a PR for your wife on the basis of your WP.

I guess PR might take more than 6 months.

I haven't received the ITA yet. But i can apply for PNP and hopefully i would get the invite. If so, i can process for my Wife as well for the PR ?
What chances if i apply for TRV while am in Work permit vs TRV once i got the ITA ?

There are multiple possible scenarios in your case. And, a number of what-ifs. Each situation (if you apply for a TRV now when you are a WP..... or if you apply for her PR and TRV after you apply for PNP and get an ITA, etc) could have different outcomes.

You must decide at what point in time you'd like your wife to visit Canada.... and apply accordingly.

For a TRV, your wife must demonstrate her strong ties to her home country
