Hi guys,

I'm planning to invite my mother in law who is currently residing in Philippines. We haven't started the application but we're gathering the required documents already.

1. Can we apply for multiple visa?
2. If the visa office will grant the multiple visa, should my MIL go home after 6 months? Or can she stay as long as her permit is valid?
3. Which is faster, online or paper?

Thank you

1. Yes - she can.
2. If she wants to stay longer than six months, she will have to apply for an extension.
3. Typically online.

I don't think I can apply super visa for my mother in law. My wife should apply for that because she's the daughter. Uhmmm.. I'll check to be sure...

yes the "child/grandchild" should be the one to invite but you can submit supporting documents (marriage contract-- proof of ur relationship, ur T4's or income letter/income tax etc).

My wife is not yet a PR here in Canada. And my son can't apply for her he still a baby. Hehehe. So i guess we should stick to tourist visa??
