Hi I am a Canadian citizen and my husband and I are currently living in Australia. We would like to move to Vancouver, Canada where I have alot of family and we just had a baby. We would like to immigrate as soon as possible but my husband needs to be able to work. If you apply outland do you have to wait for the whole processing time before you can go to Canada and work. For the Sydney office it is 14months and I would like to be there before then. Is it worth doing it Inland and waiting the 4 months for the open work visa do you think? Help I am so confused! I basically want to get there as soon as possible with my husband being able to work as soon as possible!

If you wanna go back to Vancouver as soon as possible, then just apply inland. Prepare every documents in Australia, for example baby's and your husband's birth certificate, .........ext.

The 14 months out of Syndey is nowhere near the reality for most. We got decision made in 4 months, PPR in 5.

WOW! that's Quick!

I know after AOR1 every case will be different.

Krysta, you case is really up to you. If you really wanna go back to Vancouver as soon as possible then Option 1, apply outland, you and your baby go back to Vancouver first and your husband can visit you( can't work there). Or you husband can stay in Australia and work.

Option 2, apply inland, apply OWP for your husband. BUY Inland case move very very very slow.
