Hi everyone, I'm a 25 year old I.T. Employee in a Bank in the Philippines. My aunt and uncle are encouraging me to live with them in Squamish, BC and work there. I already applied for a working visa in the CIC.ca website but I still haven't completed some documents:

1. Offer of Employment
2. Employment Contract
3. Labour Market Opinion (LMO) from HRSDC
4. Proof that you Meet the Requirements of the Job Being Offered

I'm missing these documents because I still don't have a job waiting for me there.
I have emailed about a dozen employers for a job. Like all foreigners planning to start out in Canada, I've only contacted minimum wage job offers such as fast-food worker, cashier or customer service. So far, there have been no replies. I'm wondering if I was only wasting their time or they didn't receive the emails.

Should I still continue with my work permit VISA application and try finding a job,
OR should I try to apply for a different VISA?

I really need a job so I can complete my documents? Can anyone help me? Thanks!!

Hi

Your application will be refused. You must already have a job offer from an employer with a positive Labour Market Opinion BEFORE you apply.
