Hello everyone, I am new here and I have got my PER for FSW NOC 1123. I am working as a marketing manager, husband also has a great job. We are earning a decent amount here and living with my in laws. We have a 1.5 yr old baby. Now as the days are approaching we are getting really confused about this. Now we are at our 30's and life seems OK here in Bangladesh (no asset no flat no car no major savings but monthly income is more than enough to lead a decent life) other than the fear of formalin/accidental death due to political unrest!

My husband has uncles aunts living in Canada for many years. Still... don't know if we are doing the right thing opting for starting the life from scratch.

HELP! :-\

Hi sis.
I have the same thinking. Although I've got the visa Alhamdulillah. Sometimes I think is it really worth to leave my job and start from scratch in an unknown place.
The only thing encourages me is thinking about a better future for the next generation.
Keep inspired:)

I have always longed for that standard of living, in Bangladesh the food is contaminated, high risk of health problems, you can't give proper meat/fruit to your family because no one can confirm about their safety. The education system is a joke and getting a decent job depends on luck and networking. Moreover, the polluted air, over crowded capital city (where we live), poor infrastructure and the unstable political conditions...I am sure that I do not want to live here at all.

I can picture myself in a happy and content place in peaceful environment in Canada, where I wont have to boil the fruits before giving them to my baby or won't have to worry about the chicken I will feed him. Also, enrolling him to a school wont depend on lottery and high "donation".

Best of luck to all of you. Now we are waiting for medical request, how long will that take I wonder...

You are absolutely right.
Quality of life should be much better comparing to Bangladesh. So many positive points to apply for immigration.

For us, me and my family are settled in the Middle East for over 3 decades. Alhamdulillah having a good job there. Good lifestyle. But of course Middle East or GCC can't be a long term plan since you can't settle there forever.

I'm just worried about the cost of living vs income in Canada is really high. And finding a good job requires the so called canadian experience (they don't even value US or European experience that much, which I really can't understand why). Salaries in Canada are much lower than the US while living cost is higher. So we will have a go through a big challenge in the first breakthrough.

It's a risk that we will have to take. Let's just pray that we will have some 'good luck'.

Best wishes for U guys who are in the process :)
