Need information on PCC and LOR - India

Hi,
Can someone pls tell me this info:
1. Can we apply PCC online. And do they ask for reason for PCC and stamp the passport with that reason?
2. Can someone who got ITA, what all documents are required further and in what time.
3. If LOR is required - Will LOR from a senior on a simple paper suffice or we need LOR on a company letterhead.
4. DO we need any other doc from the company?

You need to tell some details like, which country are you from, where are you living right now. If in Canada, your exp and NOC

I am not sure of this. I applied from Vancouver very recently and I got it in less than 2 week. If your applying from India, try to follow the below link. I don't think there is an online submission. You can only book the appointment online

Ok. Tricky one. Last year, when I thought for the first time about Canada immigration, I got it done from my senior employee. Once I decided I am leaving India, on company letter head. But I was satisfied, when I got it done on my letter head. 8) 8) 8)
So try to get it done on company letter head. If it is not possible look for alternatives.
4. DO we need any other doc from the company?

1a. Do i need to get any clearance from Canada Polics also? I havent gone there ever.
2. Can i get PCC now or does it need to have date after i get ITA.
3. What is required in Employment records or employment records 2
4. Difference bw offer of employment and Letter of Employment
5. For medical, can i get it now or after i get ITA
6. In Proof of financial support, is it cash, RD or i can show FD, PPF also ?

1) Most probably there would be only one PCC for India.
1a) No (obviously)

2. Can i get PCC now or does it need to have date after i get ITA.

- This part seems tricky to me, the PCC should be dated no longer than 3 months before application submission. So get it now only if you are expecting to submit application within next three months. Anyone else please correct me if i am wrong.

3. What is required in Employment records or employment records 2
4. Difference bw offer of employment and Letter of Employment

- You need to prove your employment history and most probably your job duties as well. Usual way is to provide letter from employer(on letter-head) having all the details like salary, start date, no of hours per week, designation, job duties etc.

5. For medical, can i get it now or after i get ITA

- probably best to do it after

6. In Proof of financial support, is it cash, RD or i can show FD, PPF also ?

- Any liquid funds will work, if you can break/cash the FD/PPF whenever you want, you can include it.

One police clearance certificate from India. If you have stayed in any country for more than 6 months, you need to produce PCC from that country.

2. Can i get PCC now or does it need to have date after i get ITA.
I would say after ITA. However, you can investigate on how much time does it take in India to get PCC. If it takes around 2-4 weeks, better wait till you get ITA.

I have 2 employer i.e., present employer in Canada and previous employer in Hyderabad, India. So CIC requests for 2 employment records.
4. Difference bw offer of employment and Letter of Employment
Offer of employment is very straight forward one. LOE you can google it and get the format. Basically, it has information like salary, benefits, working hours per week & designation. It should be finally signed by HR or manager.
5. For medical, can i get it now or after i get ITA
Get it after ITA. Just takes a day to get receipt which needs to be uploaded.
6. In Proof of financial support, is it cash, RD or i can show FD, PPF also ?
