Hi,
I am Mohammad Mujahidul Islam from Bangladesh. I completed my BSc in EEE and I have 3 years work experiences. I am processing a work permit of 2 years as a Restaurant cashier job. My plan is that i wan to move to Canada with a work permit then before finished my work permit i will apply for Masters degree or post graduate diploma for 2 years course. When i get study permit i will apply for PR. For this work permit they are asking for my High school certificates. My questions are

1. If i apply with my high school certificates will this be make any problems to get PR?(As i have graduation certificates)

2. I want to apply for 2 years course in a college in Canada 2/3 months before my work permit finished. Will i get study permit inside canada?

3. What do you think about difficulties and briers in my planing which can make problems to get PR?

Thanks

1. Okay first of all, how are you applying a work permit? Did you receive a LMIA approved from your employer already?

2. You can apply for a study permit inside Canada but chances of getting it approved might be difficult as you'll need to show home ties and will leave the country after you finish your program.

3.It depends on which program are you applying for.

Thanks for your reply. My employer started processing for LMIA. I need PR. But my job will be skill level C category. For PR I will not get any points for this job. Thats why I want to apply for post graduate diploma in network engineering which is 2 years course. So I get 2 years visa. After that I can apply for post graduation work permit. Suppose I got work permit and come to canada. Then

1. What is the possibilities to get study permit inside canada?
N.B. I have completed Msc in EEE but my masters course is not affiliated yet. Thats means my msc certificate is valueless. So I am considered as a bachelor degree holder. But I want to apply for Post graduate diploma in network engineering. My background is EEE but I want to to apply for network engineering. As Network engineering relates to my subject but different field isn't it a chance to get study permit?

2. If I come to canada with a work permit of 2 years in a NOC C category job what you think the best wat to get PR easily?

Thanks

1. If you can convince the immigration officer that taking a different field will be helpful in your future career goals then yes you maybe able to get a study permit. However, other than education you must also convince that your stay in Canada is temporary until you graduate and apply for a PGWP. Also home ties and financial background is also important as well.

2. As I told you before, you must know which immigration programs that you want to apply for. There are so many programs like PNP and also which province that you'll be working. You can get your employer to help you with that after your 2 year work permit expires. So do your research well. What job is your employer applying LMIA for? LMIA processing will take at least 3 months or more.....

Thank you so much for your information. My work permit will be based on noc c cetegory job. For this c category job employer asked fo my high school certificates. I am worried about cic.

1. As my employer applied with my high school certificates, there wil be profile created for me in immigration. And in education background cic will show high school level for me. For study permit I have to show my BSc certificates for admission as well as I have to submit my bsc certificate to immigration. As my o profile will be already created in cic for work permit will not they ask why I applied for a work with a high school cerfiate as I have a BSc certificate?

What is your position in the company? You must show all education levels when you apply.
