Hi to everyone.

I'm going to sponsor my husband but I don't know if we should get the police certificate stamped by the Canadian embassy in Algeria before sending them to CIC.
What about his birth certicate is has to be translated from french to english?
Thanks a lot

Hi!

For us, we didnt make the embassy stamps the police certificate. For the traductions, as long as its in french or english you dont need to make it traduce! Since for us in Qc we send the things in french! ;)

Hope it helps you! ;D
Good luck!

Does your 'region specific guide' tell you to do this? If no, you don't need to.

No. Canada is officially bilingual - English and French - so any documents you send can be either French or English.
