Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
The employer first needs to apply for a labour market opinion for you. This includes proving that the job has been advertised and no Canadians or PR's applied who were willing and qualified to take the job. He also has to be offering market wage as per Service Canada decision on what market wage should be for this job. Once your employer gets the LMO, you can apply for your work permit. You may have to include your experience letter and qualifications to prove that you are qualified for this job he could not find any qualified Canadians for.

Getting the LMO and work permit can take from weeks to months depending on many factors, one of them being how fast your embassy processes work permits. There is no IELTS necessary for a work permit but the embassy might talk to you to make sure you speak enough English to do the work. You might have to have a physical. There is no points system and as far as I know, you do not need to show proof of funds because you are coming with a job. You should however bring enough to rent an apartment plus deposit and enough money to survive for the first month. The work permits are usually 1 or 2 years but you and your employer can apply to extend when it's expiring.

This kind of work permit is for one employer only so if you get fired or quit, you can stay in Canada until the work permit expires but you can not start working for another employer without first getting a new LMO and a new work permit.

Yes, I do not know why you posted your question about TWP under the CEC topic because they are completely 2 different things.

CEC is Canadian Experience Class and you can use that to apply for permanent residency but only after you qualify. To qualify to apply under CEC, you need to have either worked in Canada for 2 years in a skilled position or studied in Canada for 2 years and then worked for at least 1 year in a skilled position.

CEC has absolutely nothing to do with getting a work permit. Having applied under CEC will not help you renew an expiring work permit.

If you go to Canada on a work permit, you can only work in the occupation and only for the employer you have the work permit for. If you find a better job with another employer or your employer wants to promote you to a better job, you can not take that until you first get a new LMO and a new work permit.
Once you get a new LMO and new work permit, you can no longer work for the old employer in the old job.
