Hello members,
I am currently a Nanny in Caring for Children. I was offered an LMIA that will expire end of May 2019.
Now it happens that my employer, is planning to go to india for one year as from January 2019.
I have only 5months left to work with them, they agreed to do a new LMIA in January 2019 to get me an extended work permit as I joined work on July 1, 2017 and i will be needing 2months to complete the required 24 months in order to apply for my Permanent Residency.
I was approached by a new employer, she has had a job offer on the Job bank since November 2018.
My question is Do I stay with my immediate employer until the PR process starts or should I change employer?? Will this not delay my PR application process? She has to apply for LMIA and I have to obtain a new work permit. Please Advise
