NEED HELP

HI All

I have recently applied for Canada PR and got rejected on points based system as i was mis guided from my consultant that i can show my spouse education which is 12 yrs of full time and i have applied for visa and which got rejected as i got 66 points only.I for got about it now.

My question is last time i applied as accomodation manager, if i want to re apply for PR the category is not there in the demand list.

in my carrier i have 1 yr of experience as Assistant Resturant Manager in CYPRUS, it was while i was pursuing my final yr of studies in hotel management ( paid employement),If i write IELTS again a nd score good points can i apply with that one yr of experience which i have gfot in 2001 to 2002, will there be any problem as after that i never worked in the restaurant field, later worked in insurance field as business insurance consultant and currently working as accommodation manager

I also checked that there is an option for insurance sector as well, I have total 21 months experience in business insurance consultant from Sydney from 2004 to 2006, can I apply in that or shall I apply as assistant resurant manager only.
As my case got rejected on points based system, is it alright if I re apply will they goive me visa if I satisy their needs?
Of I try for arranged employement from canadfa will it be of any useful to me?

Please advice me how to go about my case,

Try to increase your ielts score.. & then re-apply.. You can earn maximum 16 points in ielts.

Ooops, I think max is actually 16 points for IELTS top score. I think the advice you were given to raise your IELTS score EVEN ONLY 2 MORE POINTS will put you over the threshold.
How lucky you are to have several occupations in the NOC 29!!Check out the Insurance NOC against your duties and definitely use it if it matches, especially as it was for a longer period and more recent than NOC 0631. Any jobs you held in the past 10 years in categories O,A or B can count to a maximum of 4 years and that will give you 21 points. Just make sure your references and backup documentation, proof of funds are solid and triple check your application is completely filled (N/A where ever you do not have to answer). Best of Luck.
