I stayed in US for about 10 year and was entered legally on visitors visa, applied for political stay which got denied and got deported to India for Over Stay, married to US citizen for about 4 years in India now case is pending and will take another 10 to 12 months, not sure if it will go through.

I qualify for a skilled worker category and would like to know the implications of my travel history to united states on my application

Just be clear to CIC with what ever explanations you can give for the past.

So you don't have right to travel US though you have married US Citizen?
or
You want to try PR for Canada under FSW?

Anyways, if you want to try to Canada, all your history can be found on you're passport. So, all that I can say is to be honest and give written explanations where ever its necessary.

They are few ways to apply for Canada.

Best way is if you get any Job Offer with HSRDC approval or if any employer can hire you under PNP.

Or Else, you got below:

a. Federal Skilled Worker (should get enough points and should have one year experience in current 29 occupations)
b. CEC, Canadian Experience Class, for this you should have min. 2 years canadian experience legally or finish you're graduation in Canada and have 1 year min. canadian exp.
c. Investors - This is something that im not aware of that much but you will be eligible if you want to invest good amount of money or start business in Canada. You just cannot show money and get PR, we have to show some business investments proofs every year.
