Hello there, so this is what my plan is i have about 20k canadian dollars so that should be enough to keep me alive for a while. i have a few questions that i need to get answers for.

I plan on travelling to canada with a temporary resident visa ( im from finland so no need to apply for it ) can stay there for as long as 6 months and possibly extend it if needed.

1: - If i can find a company who is willing to go through a process called LMO i would be able to get my work permit right?

2: - Am i allowed to buy a car/having insurance on it while being there on a temporary resident visa?

3: - Can i tell the immigration officers at the airport if i get interviewed that i am here looking for a job but not going to work until i have all the papers sorted?

4: - I have applied for my IDP (international drivers permit) but it might not get approved due to the traffic violations ive had in the past so could i get a canadian drivers license while still being there as a temporary resident?

5: When i arrive in canada will one of the immigration officers stamp on my passport how long i can stay or can i just stay for the 6 months?

Thanks in advance.

I think in your case, you should not tell anything about your future plan because CIC differentiate visa so when you enter into the country on visitor visa, all rules and regulations for the visitor visa may apply. Please check on their website and yes after going to Canada if you change your visa that should be fine. Regarding driver's license, I am not 100% sure in your case. But I guess they mentioned some where on the website.

1. Yes - you can. Note that it tends to be very difficult to find employers who are willing to do it. Also, I believe LMO processing times are between 6-16 weeks (and that's after the employer has advertised the job for at least one full month).
2. I don't know.
3. No - you shouldn't. Unless you want to increase the chance of being granted a short visit or even being sent home. You need to demonstrate that you are a genuine visitor and have no plans on remaining in Canada long term.
4. I don't know.
5. You will likely be allowed to stay six months. However the immigration officer also has the right to limit your visit to a shorter trip or deny you entry into Canada completely.

2. Wrong question. You can buy and own a car, but you can't drive it. You need two official identifications to register the car. One is your passport... and the other is screwed up because you can't have anything else legal in Canada as a visitor.
4. No, you need two official identifications (same as 2).

BTW you can't get a bank account due to the same reasons stated in 2. Plan on that.

I suggest you go on the Work forums in this site. Applying abroad can be a good alternative, and you won't be doing something that is well... not completely legal (nor illegal).

You need a work permit to join an apprenticeship program. And to qualify to apply for a work permit, your employer first needs to obtain an LMO. So it's really no different than getting an actual job.

No, it is not official.

Nothing as a visitor.

Use common sense. Why would a visitor need to BUY a car? Why would a visitor need more than one official identification? Visitors are meant to stay for a short period and return home.

Don't try to out smart the system.

Apprenticeships are restricted to Permanent Residents and Canadian Citizens.

Okay so it will be hard for me to get around anyways i checked on one of the websites it says:

"These people need a work permit but do not need an LMO:

Workers covered under international agreements
This group can include:
professionals,
traders,
investors and
business visitors "

I would go into the traders category, so what if i come to canada and lets say i find a pipefitting/plumbing company and they would give me a job offer wouldnt i be able to get my work permit way faster if i tried that because not having to go through lmo?

No - because you don't fall under an international agreement. That's the first requirement of what you quoted.

You would still require an LMO.
