Hi everyone! I've been reading this forum for quite some time now which is really helpful and informative.

I am 23 years old, registered nurse, and I have work experience from BPO industry for 6months and 3months volunteer at an RHU center. I am currently unemployed. I already got an invitation letter from my uncle (mother’s side) residing in Canada along with a photocopy of his passport and his and his wife’s confirmation of employment. The invitation letter stated that he will shoulder my expenses during my stay and I will also be staying at their house. I have enough money of about P200, 000 on my account I got it from my father's death benefit claim but my uncle’s going to also shoulder expenses for the duration of my stay.

Please help me answer these questions:
1. I am having a trouble providing a proof of income as one of the requirements for getting a Canadian tourist visa. What will I provide as proof of income? (since i am currently unemployed do i have to get a job?)
2. I was thinking that my statement of account should be uploaded to Proof of means of financial support instead on the Proof of Income or should it be otherwise?
3. Some people in this forum said that the invitation letter should be notarized. Is this true?
4. I haven’t traveled outside the Philippines. Do I have a slimmer chance on getting my visa approved?
5. And also I am a nursing graduate and already got my license to work as a Registered Nurse. Some have said that it would be very difficult for the consul to approve my visa thinking I will be staying there for good.

I hope that you could help me out guys. Thank you

Nurse Volunteer with LMO

hello.. good day to everyone!

my concern us a lil bit same with the others..

i am a Licensed Registered Nurse here in the Philippines.
i had my hospital experience for 7months as a VOLUNTEER NURSE..
i have now my LMO,and waiting for the contract to arrive.my employer in canada is my aunt's future husband..i will be taking care of his mother in canada.
i took a Caregiving Exam (although i did not enrolled a 6month caregiving course). i passed.and now holding a National Certificate II in Caregiving issued by TESDA..
from my own liltle bussiness, i have my earnings so i can pay my SSS.
one requirement i think is the COE.
the problem is, i did volunteer work. will my qualification/experience as a volunteer nurse will affect the processing of my papers? and is SSS will also affect it?

i need HELP from those who are concern..
your help is WELL APPRECIATED.. THANK YOU SO MUCH and GOD BLESS US ALL. :)

1. You didn't attend the course, only wrote the exam, have no paid experience as a caregiver, good chance that the work permit is going to be refused.
