Hi, is anyone can help?

I am working in Germany (i am not a German nor a Canadian) since 2005. My working permit is valid till June 30, 2009 and my German visa valid till July 31, 2009. My fiancee is working in Canada (not a Canadian but permanent employee) thus i wanna go to Canada to visit him and look for a job there. I have looked for a job in Canada from Germany, online, still don't get any luck yet, therefore i was thinking it will be easier if i were in Canada and continue looking for a job, there.

• By applying a multiple entry visitor visa, one can stay in Canada with the maximum duration of six months, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/extend-stay.asp. If I am planning to fly to Canada in April 2009, thus in the application form, http://www.international.gc.ca/missions/germany-allemagne/pdf/TRV_Berlin_en.pdf, question number 9, I have to write from April– October, 2009 (six months). What will happen if the embassy know that my residence permit in country where applying (germany),only valid till July 31st, 2009? Is there any chance that they might not execute the visa or only give the Canada visa till July 31st, 2009?
• One of the visa requirements is that my fiancee has to write me an invitation letter and also give a copy of his working permit. If in the working permit did not mention that he is a permanent employee in the company (indeed he is) instead only written that it is valid till 2011, is his working permit valid enough to support my invitation letter?
• What do you think is the best status of me that i have to fill in the form, related to my fiancee, as a friend or as a fiancée? Since I don't want the Canada embassy think that I might be a burden for Canadian's government with a hidden purpose of looking for a job instead of a normal visitor.

Thanks for the help.
