Need help with work history for EE - promotions

this is my work history and this is what my manager wrote in my work reference letter

  • He is currently working as Sr Software Dev Engineer, to which he was promoted on November 26 2023.
  • Before this, he worked as Software Dev Engineer II from July 24 2022 - November 25 2023, following his promotion to that position on July 24 2021.
  • Before that, he worked as Software Dev Engineer I from July 12 2021 - July 23 2022.

While creating my EE profile, I just added my latest position under work history. I'm submitting my application now. Based on what's in my work ref letter, should I add a single row for my work history or should i split in 3 rows?

my concerns are that since I was just promoted, that part of my work history isn't continuous one year. the other concern is that I didn't mention these positions in my EE profile or in my OINP application (which was approved).

Appreciate all the help. Thank you.

You can show either way assuming the same NOC Code, same Employer, same Country, and you only have one letter with all the above promotion details along with job duties.

Depending on what you decide to go with, you can always add a letter of explanation to explain why you did it a certain way.

E.g. you keep one entry only, you can explain that since the employer, NOC code, job duties, and country are the same, you just showed one single entry with the last designation though you had different promotions with the same employer, and your experience letter mentions that.

If you are still worried, it's always a good idea to consult with an immigration lawyer recommended by IRCC. You can always spend a few hundred dollars to get your overall application reviewed for an important step in your life!
