Need help with CEC application

Hi I am currently on a Work permit in Canada and eligible to apply for my PR under CEC class. Problem is that me and my wife have decided to part ways and she has left Canada and has moved back to our home country and I am still here and we did not get our divorce yet, I will be applying the PR just for me and not my wife. So the CEC class immigration document check list says that it needs the following forms to be filled by my wife as well even though I am not filing a PR for her.

IMM 5669 Background/Declaration
IMM 5406 Additional Family Information

Is there a way that i need not submit the above forms for my wife as i am not applying for her and the main reason being that she is not available in Canada to fill and sign these for me. Please advise on how to proceed, your help is much appreciated. And also what will be my marital status as we do not live together anymore since 6 months.

Sorry to hear that , It would be better for you to call CIC customer care to verify any specific doubts regarding the situation .

As far I know Legally she is your wife before getting divorced , You can mark "Not Accompanying " in application and provide here duly signed forms . You can explain your situation in a form of cover letter .

I would advise get clarification from CIC before going ahead filing your application , I guess you need to provide Legal proof too once you are divorced .
