Need help very urgent! Please advise

- Alberta: Rejected (No specific reason given, just said they receive many applications each year and all that....)
- Waterloo: No response from them from 3 months
- Manitoba: No response (most likely a reject as i come to know that prof letting is the most imp thing here regardless of degree type)
- UoRegina: Result awaited

Guys, I badly need your help. What should I do. How is UoR in giving admits and is it a good univ to do MS? Do I stand a chance there? Would you suggest, I should rather apply for next intake.

Another question that i had was, Is it worth reapplying to the same univ for next intake? Policy wise, have you ever heard anyone reapplying to the same univ after being rejected.

ask Alberta to convert your application to Jan semester they do that, although getting in for Jan semester may be hard , they only need an email from you thats it (dnt have to pay fees again or docs again).who knows manybe you can get in for Jan?

try Calgary it is a very good engineering university?
email the officials from other universities or better call them and ask about ur admission? (who haven't replied you back) mention ur application number in the email. ~

@ golden_sky_18, You mean, Just an email would be enough and they will consider me for Jan intake? Should I email their grad coordinator mentioning my application and other reference numbers? Also, I want to improve my SOP. Can I include that as well in that email? Please advise.

Regarding Calgary, yea i heard it's is a good univ for engineering but the only issue you know, I didn't wanted to wait untill Jan for some reasons but if that's the only option I'll have to try my luck there and wait.

Regarding UoWaterloo, I mailed their grad coordinator and she said that results will be out some time in April but now april has also passed.

Yes that would be enough,Just mention ur app number , name , email, I did the same and emailed to the grad cordinator (I think her name was Nona Mcdough for engineering students) she might refuse but tell her you really want to apply to UofA and they consider the same application, don't know about the SOP but no harm in asking right ?
Email waterloo again ask for your application,sometimes they don't email and just send the package,who knows maybe you might hear some good news?
and Calgary doesn't allow many intakes for Jan semester.Not many universities in Canada accept students for Jan semester.
imrankh88 also mentioned some great universities so try ask them too ~

I applied to ALberta,Calgary and University of Victoria ,
Alberta and Calgary didn't gave me admission this term but they kinda said they might consiider me for Jan semester(although im not beting on it and would not waste my time waiting for them), I got in Victoria so currently in process for collecting docs and stuff for Visa.

Regina is a good university which gives admission without much hassel but this semester they are also giving some trouble, I just know that one of mine friend didn't get in there.

Its mainly because Canada is kinda taking in less international student this year due to overflow of international students for the past 2 year,especially states like Alberta,Sasketchwan and Toronto.(I dont have any confirm source about this news ,so no judging,I only heard this from my brother who lives there).

Well best of luck JS,I'd email or check in with Waterloo and Manitoba again.
