Need help urgent..

I'm staying in Calgary as a tourist, I just got a job at Arby's and he said he'll apply for an LMO tomorrow.
The thing is I entered Canada almost 5 months ago, should I extend my tourist visa or go back home and come back to Canada when I get the work permit?
How long does it take to process an LMO? And how long does it take to process the work permit?

As i know that the maximum duration to stay with visit visa is 6 months.

Give more information about yourself like ur country .

LMO can take months and processing WP will take also some times and if you are not from visa exempt countries so you should process WP visa outside Canada at you country.
