Hi All

I am newbie to this forum and seeking some HELP or guidance from you all on how to get my money back from immigration consultant. I was visiting Canada last year and luckily found an employer who was willing to hire me but unable to proceed my application with BC (British Columbia) or CIC. As I had to go back to UK so we hired an immigration consultant to proceed application in Canada while I was in UK. We paid some money ($250) as deposit which was non-refundable and paid some more money ($250) later on as they requested (they told us this amount will be refunded if the outcome of this application is negative). I paid application fees separately and they submitted application with BC under PNP. I signed all the documents and sent by emails and this was our way of communications due to time difference between both countries. They sent me case copy after submission and found way to many mistakes were made on my application such as my work experience related to my job which I had was not written correctly with number of years, my interview was done by employer and it was not mentioned in application, details of my father and name of my spouse were wrong etc. They were given all the information before submission. When I told immigration consultant about mistakes, they told me they will update details with BC but I never received any confirmation. Long story short my application was refused due to my work experience. When I asked my money ($250 or full $500 refund due to mistakes they made) back I was completely refused to get any amount back.

I need your help on following questions :

Q - Is there anything I can do legally to get my money back as I don't have any signed contract but do have e-mails as proof?
Q - Can I appeal against BC decision as information provided on my application was not correct and not sure if immigration consultant did update my details with BC or not?
Q - What options do I have if I want to migrate to Canada or work with same employer.

Thank you all reading this and any help will be very much appreciated :).
