Hii everyone.... My friend is in alberta and he is on closed work permit. His work permit will expire in August 2017. He has put his file in province nominee program and he is expecting his pnp soon. My question is once he gets his pnp can he apply for an open work permit on the basis of pnp approval ? or if he applies for extension of his work permit he will get closed work permit as he is on lmia... ( Assuming he is in alberta he cannot put his file under express entry ? ) any help would be appreciated.. Thanx
