Hello All,

I had a few questions regarding POF for express entry. I'm an Indian currently in USA (for studies). My uncle is ready to help me with the funds required.

Questions:

1. What are the all the documents that are required for POF? (Since I'm confused going through a number of articles)
2. The difference between Gift Deed and Affidavit. Are both of them required for POF?
3. Can they (Gift Deed and Affidavit) be typed on the plain paper or is notary required? (Since both I and my uncle are in the USA I'm not sure how to get a notary)
4. Can the funds be transferred back after I've submitted the application or Should be kept in the account until the process is complete?

Thanks in advance.

bank statement or credit letter from bank which proves you have sufficient funds

2. The difference between Gift Deed and Affidavit. Are both of them required for POF?

once your uncle transfers the cash, you have to get an affidavit from your uncle stating you are free to use the cash as per your wish and get it notarized. you will find legal notary offices usually who can notarize the document.

3. Can they (Gift Deed and Affidavit) be typed on the plain paper or is notary required? (Since both I and my uncle are in the USA I'm not sure how to get a notary)

a plain paper should be fine as long as it is notarized by a lawyer.

4. Can the funds be transferred back after I've submitted the application or Should be kept in the account until the process is complete?

it's better to keep it still until your process is complete. you can never predict cic. MAYBE, they can ask you for a latest bank statement as an additional document request at a later stage. we never know.

Thanks in advance.

One point to note , some time immigration team team also ask Funds details so while immigrating ... so you need to keep the funds till you land in Canada..
