Need help regarding my sons status.

I am about to apply for CEC with my wife and son. Both me and my wife are on work permits here. We had a baby boy this year and he received canadian citizenship. Now for IMM5620 do I have to pay $150.00 for him as a dependent? Technically hes not applying for PR. The $150.00 is not a big deal, but I'd rather not spend that money if I dont have to.

1. No , the child is a Canadian and is NOT included in the application, you only list him on the IMM 5406.

I have the query on the same topic. My son is also an Canadian citizen...What about the photos, do i need to submit his photos as well as per the specifications

No need to send his photos as you are not applying PR for him.

You can write a cover letter explaining that your son is born in Canada and already a Canadian citizen along with his birth certificate/passport copy.
