Need help regarding medical report invalid for immigration

Hello guys,
I just got rejection to my application because of stupid reason they give me.
They said “ your spouse medical report is invalid”
I and my spouse did medical together and they accepted my medical report and how come they dont accept my spouse? I am so frustrated, it already tool them 4 months to say this. I applied in feb 2020 and they just sent me letter now.
can anybody help please?
Any suggestions what i can do?
I already contacted medical clinic and they gave me all report which they sent to cic and fhey all says completed and there was no major issue. I dont know what to do.

Use the webform to point out their mistake and the fact that the expiry is the same for both medicals and ask them to fix it.
BTW, since the details are of critical importance in immigration, what else did it say besides “your spouse medical report is invalid” - specifically, why it was invalid?

They have just said that your spouse medical report was invalid.
nothing else was said or no reason was given.
Only provided section 10 and 12.1 to refer.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has reviewed your application for permanent residence. We have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of a complete application as described in sections 10 and 12.01 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. Your application is rejected for being incomplete.
Specifically, your application does not include the following elements: - Upfront medical report for your spouse is invalid.
Note: A full review of your application was not performed. There may be other elements, not identified above, which may also be missing or incomplete.



i did secondary application but still they said same. I dont know what could be the problem.
any suggestion? I have already got second ITA but without solving problem i dont want to apply for same rejection.

So . . . you got a rejection letter that said only that your spouse's medical was invalid, with no other explanation, citing Sections R10 and R12.
R10 is the completeness check
Form and content of application

• 10 (1) Subject to paragraphs 28(b) to (d) and 139(1)(b), an application under these Regulations shall
  • (a) be made in writing using the form, if any, provided by the Department or, in the case of an application for a declaration of relief under subsection 42.1(1) of the Act, by the Canada Border Services Agency;
  • (b) be signed by the applicant;
  • (c) include all information and documents required by these Regulations, as well as any other evidence required by the Act;
  • (d) be accompanied by evidence of payment of the applicable fee, if any, set out in these Regulations; and
  • (e) if there is an accompanying spouse or common-law partner, identify who is the principal applicant and who is the accompanying spouse or common-law partner.

and R12 enables IRCC to send your application back if it fails R10

Return of application

12 Subject to section 140.4, if the requirements of sections 10 and 11 are not met, the application and all documents submitted in support of it, except the information referred to in subparagraphs 12.3(b)(i) and (ii), shall be returned to the applicant.

So, if no other reasons was given for your spouse's medical being invalid and your application was rejected on the grounds that it was incomplete because of your spouse's medical being invalid, it sounds like a mistake and I go back to my suggestion about submitting a webform enquiry including your IMM1017s and the rejection letter.

You could order GCMS notes to find out more, but frankly you won't understand what they say and it might be more trouble than its worth.

Let me explain whole case in detail.
I and my wife went to medical for immigration together. When doctor checked my wife, she found usual sound from heart and they asked for ECG. Luckily, we just had ECG one week before and i had those reports in my cellphone which i showed to doctor. Doctor checked those report and satisfied with those reports because she has mild arotic murmer which is not a big issue according to doctor. Than they asked me to fac those reports to their clinic so they can attach those report to cic file.
after getting rejection i thought that could be reason for rejection because i forwarded those reports to doctors and not doctor referred todo those reports. So do you think because of that they are saying that medical report is invalid?

I have already applied for second time consulting lawyer and i just got reply that my application is closed. They cant do anything.

You got a second ITA and you applied for a second time and your application was rejected for the same reason? I think that means something.
Why don't you do another medical to see what the results are?
Did your lawyer order the GCMS notes from the first refusal?

I have second ita as back up. I have applied to fight that decision of invalid. But unfortunately they didn’t consider. We will apply for GCMS notes now. Any suggestion what else we can do?

If it wasn't an IRCC mistake then find out what the problem was, fix it, and apply again.
