Need help please! Which visa office?

How do you guys know which visa office is processing your application? Because i sent an email to CEM updating my information, and they replied back that my application resides at CPP-ottawa. Then CPP-ottawa inform me that my application is still at CIO-sydney. Im confused. ??? When does CIO-sydney sent out our application to visa office?

Where was the AOR sent from?

There are two AORs typically for PNP applicants. One if the AOR from CIO-Sydney, sending you notification of acceptance of your application, deeming it complete, and indicating receipt of processing fees paid. It also states the application has been sent/transferred to a visa office for further processing.

A second AOR comes from the Visa Office processing the application and is sent as soon as the application has been transferred from CIO and file has been created at the VO. Usually this AOR comes with a set of further instructions/additional requests such as PCCs, etc.

Would you check the headings on the AOR that you got and see if what address the AOR was sent out from? Also check from which email address the AOR was sent from.

Thank you so much for your clarifications ragluf. I received an AOR from CIO-Sydney with subject "Application for Permanent Residence in Canada (PNP)"

When do I expect to received the second AOR? And i requested CEM to be my visa office, are they going to send it there even if i've been working here in Canada for more than 3 years already?
