Hello people...

I am a Computer Technician with A+ Certification, and over 5 years of experience. I am in Canada already on Visitor's Visa status, and have found an employer willing to give me job offer.

I have some confusions which I would like to get cleared before I proceed with this.

1. Is there any kind of criteria for the employer? (Because the employer has got retail store. Their major business is DVD's & Music CD's retailing, but on-side they do provide computer services, so will this option work for me?)

2. Will I have to go back to my home country with my family? (I have got 5 years multiple visa, plus I also have US Visa, but my family doesn't have Us Visa)

3. Employer is hiring on low wage. (They will pay lower than what they can pay to Canadians, so how much possibility this one has?)

4. How much time will it take?

5. Will LMO be faster than PR? (Because I don't want to go back and get my work permit soon so I can start working with work permit on LMO basis. And then apply for PR.)

Thanks

You cannot work while on visitor visa, you have to leave and come back on work permit.

Your employer has to file for LMO before hiring you, provided there is no Canadian to fill the job only then he can hire you, you cannot jump the line like this, as there are more qualified Canadians for this kind of job.

If your employer is paying you less than minimum wage he is obviously paying you cash without declaring taxes and you are obviously getting cash paid job without filing for taxes in both instances the employer and you are committing a criminal offense and by law both of you can be persecuted.

Best option for you would be to go back and apply for PR, once you get PR you can work anywhere in Canada without any restrictions. This would be good for you and your family, without jeopardizing your career and your family's future

I understand this scenario completely. Employer will put me on payroll, and it is not less than minimum wage, but whatever the minimum wage is what he will pay me.

And in this scenario, how can I proceed with PR, like what is required and what not?
