Need help online visa extension

Hi, I applied visitor visa extension online and got approved. CIC sent me a message with a form saying that: application type ****; validity ****; document NO ****. My question is that is the date under validity the deadline I can stay in Canada? Thanks.

No that is the date you have to enter Canada by. The boarder official you meet when entering the country will decide on how long you can stay. Remember you can always request an extension. If there is no date you have 6 months from the day you land.

Cam boy: yes u r right that's the date till ur visitor is valid. You will get an original document (visitor record) mailed to you which will have all the information on it.

Raj: yes you can apply online for the extension of your daughter's visitor record. But must apply before her status expires.

I tried to apply on line for visitor visa extension but it won't accept my application, I just keep getting error messages
