For my study permit extension, I will show $5000 in my account and $13000 in my husband's account. Please help how to describe this "co-sponsoring" situation in proof of support letter or explanation letter.

1. Ask your husband to write a letter, demonstrating proof of funds. Attach a 6 months bank statement or anything else, which proves that the $13000 is his (legally).

2.Attach proof to show the $5000 in your account is yours legally. A lump sum amount can raise red flags. Try to show 6 month bank statements reflecting a healthy bank account (regular withdrawals and deposits)
