Hi Folks,

I was just entering my spouse education information in EE but have got some doubts. I would appreciate if someone could answer my questions.

1) I am not going to claim points for spouse education as I don't want to go through the hassle of getting ECA. So, my question is should I still enter her educational information or just leave it and then provide the information in background form after getting ITA.

2) My second question is if I still need to provide spouse educational info then my spouse has a two years B.Sc degree (Botany, Zoology and Geography), it can be considered as general science. I am not sure if what should I select from the drop down menu under the level of education.
Should I select:
Two years program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute.
OR
Bachelor's Degree or a three or more year program at a university college trade or technical school, or other institute.

Experts and seniors kindly advise with your valuable suggestions and thank you in advance.

If you're not claiming points, you don't have to declare it.

Two years program...

Oh that was real quick from you.
Thanks dear Asivad Anac.

One more question. I am also not claiming points for her work experience so should I do the same and then provide those info in background form after ITA?

She has Canadian work experience but it doesn't fall under skilled category still I do not declare it?
Yes. You need to declare it in that section only if you intend to gain points. If not, it is useless information to CIC.

Hi; very sorry if this sounds repetitive. I'm planning on applying for Express Entry with my spouse; I plan on using her language skills to gain points for it; but don't plan on claiming educational points.

My query is as follows;

If I claim in the EE profile that my spouse has less than secondary education; how would I justify putting education detaips in the background section? (A Bachelor's (hons) and a P.G Diploma from UK).

Also for the background section; would we be required to submit Transcripts, Degrees etc for my spouse at any stage; even though we aren't claiming any points for spouse education?

Thanks

If you're not claiming any points then there is nothing to justify.

Again, if not claiming points then no transcripts required.

Thanks
