Hello Guys

My first passport was issued in India and has my parents' address as permanent address. Then my second passport is issued by Chicago Consulate in USA and has my USA address in it. The reason behind having my USA address on the passport is my parents sold their house almost on the very same day I was applying to renew my passport and I had no evidence to prove the other new Indian address. My parents still don't have any evidence for the address as they are living with my uncle temporarily.

My query is, when I apply for PCC what should I write under "Permanent Address in India"? Do I provide my uncle's address where my parents are staying currently or I provide the address on my old passport? Since the old property is sold and we don't live there, I am not sure what to do. Could someone help?

Thank you in advance!

Write a address where police verification can be done in case your file is referred back to India. In this case most probably your uncle's address.
