yes and life is beautiful
dear,
I sponsored my wife from Bangladesh. Now our file is in Singapore. Good news is: after long strikes break, they finally stated processing. Singapore immigration sent me a letter asking for additional documents. I sent all the additional documents they asked in mail. I used "Express Mail Services" of Canada to send my documents to "Canadian High Commission, P.O.Box 845, Singapore", so I can keep track on my mail. but on Canada Post tracking, it is showing that "document has arrived at the postal facilities in Singapore but on hold". Its been more than 10 days since its showing that message. Can anyone tell me why it is showing on hold? does that mean, it arrived in PO box and the immigration didn't pick up yet? How can I know that immigration has received my documents? Cause otherwise I have to send the asked additional documents again, as I am only given 60 days to reply. PLEASE NEED IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE..!!!! I'm kinda worried now.

Hi,
Sometimes when you send mail that has P.O Box that makes an issue have you called Canada Post to see what they say I always use DHL I had the same issue like u last time my papers were put on hold for 7 days so I hope everything will be fine and also for your information you can order gcms notes to see if they have received your letter or not.

Hope your everything will be fine.

well, I called the post office of Singapore, gave them the tracking number to track, they tracked and informed me that the documents already been delivered to the designated PO BOX. but they cant tell when the immigration will pick it up. I emailed to singapore-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca, and asked if they pick up daily from the BOX and received my mail or not.. they said the pick up everyday from the post office. Still awaiting for their answer of if they got my documents or not... Won't they send me a confirmation mail stating that they have received my documents???? This is really frustrating, and this Christmas Break is boosting this even more... Can't wait to find out that my documents are on right hand... :|

How do I order GCMS notes? Can I do it now since I already mailed my documents to them?

Click on below link and follow the steps to order notes;

Regarding Canada post, they have a slow service. At times documents reach it's destination but they never update it on the net. Best option is to email Singapore.

If you requested a signature upon delivery, that may be the problem. There is nobody to sign for post boxes. Canada post can only tell you whether they have delivered it to the post box. They can not know if the visa office has picked up their mail.

I would recommend getting in touch with the postal service in Singapore to find out what that message means.

I did call the Singapore post office and talked to one of their agent. They said that my document had been delivered to the designated post box. but they can't tell if the immigration people picked it up or not. I know that PO BOX has no one to sign, and that's why I sent the mail by express mail (with tracking number) to Robinson Road Address instead of courier to George Street Address.

if anyone faced the same problem as Im facing right now, Please share your experience and consequences. It might help me ease my tension.

Thank you all for being so supportive.

Need urgent assistance about mailing to Singapore for family sponsorship

hello people,
Its me again. Upon asking for additional documents, I have sent my documents to Canadian High Commission, PO BOK 845, Robinson Road, Singapore. its been almost two weeks that my document had arrived in their PO BOX, but not yet picked up by anyone. I called the singapore post, they said if no one pick up then they will send it back to me. I called immigration call center in Singapore and they said, they pick up everyday. Singapore postal service tracked my document and said, it has been delivered to the right PO box. !!!! really dont know what to do next. Cause I have limited time left for my additional docs to reach to the immigration in Singapore.

Please let me know if anyone faced this situation, and suggest me a solution.

thank you
