I need help to extend my wife Work Permit and my two children Visitor Permit. They both have their Visa until December 2018 but their permits expires on March 14th, 2018. When we landed in Toronto this September they were given permits for only 6 months, because they had no Medical Tests. We were told by Immigration Staff at Toronto Airport to do Medical Tests and apply for Extension since they will be here for more than 6 months. We have done the Medical Tests already and applied online for an extension, BUT the Visa processing center in Ottawa said we dont need any extension. My wife has applied for jobs and she needs her Work Permit for the whole year of 2018 so as my children. I am student here in Memorial University, Newfoundland. Canada.
Can someone please advise on what can be done to have the permits extended before they expire March 2018. Any experience on how to resolve this issue will be appreciated. Thanks
