Need help...Landing in Canada from the US

Hi Guys.....need help from someone who has landed in Canada from the US.

Questions:
1. What is the best way to carry funds, should we convert USD to CAD and then take or is there a way to open a account with Canadian bank and do a xfer before we move?
2. What is process to take your car from the US to CA any latest experience?
3. What is best and cheapest way to transport stuff like home furniture,kitchen stuff etc?

2. What is process to take your car from the US to CA any latest experience? - Contact Canada Border and Customs Department , http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/menu-eng.html , they are the ONLY Reliable Source or contact Canadian Embassy near you in US
3. What is best and cheapest way to transport stuff like home furniture,kitchen stuff etc? - Contact Transport Agency or Railway
