Need help in writing details of personal History since 18 years of age.

hello everyone,
i am writing my personal history details since age of 18 in background declaration form , i want to ask my seniors that when we filling the canadian study section do we need to mention about summer holidays or other scheduled semesters off during our full time studies. As i was in college since 09,2007 to dec 2012, during this time i had one summer semester off and i was in co-op course but never got any interships.during my study time i was working part time in one company throughout from aug 2008 to dec 2010. i have already listed that but i want to know that do i need to breakdown my studies by semesters in this ection or i can just write that i was in school from 2007 to 2010. Thanks alot for your time and suggestions.

I don't think it matters if you break it down by academic year, semester or keep it as one block(2007 - 2010). Just be sure to include any trips taken, employment, etc during the same period and don't leave gaps. It's ok if your dates overlap. I did mine by academic year, another forum member did hers in one block and we both had no issues.

Thanks senoritebella, I think I will do it by academic semesters because whenever I got semester Off( scheduled breaks) i was working odd jobs , so I think it will more clear in my case as I can list my employment after regular semesters. Seek your advice.

the more you complicate the application with details the mor ethey will scrutinise it. they love to see areas where they can ask questions about. if I was you I would generalise and provide details if they ask and they never will. officials love to find excuses to ask questions, the more detaisl you put in, the more questions they have.
my main advice though is don't leave gaps and don't make mistakes that might look like lies.

Thanks alot your advice . Actually I was in co-op program , so I need to list all my academic semester in the sequence so that I can explain them what I was doing during those time.
