Need help in understanding the timelines...

Hi,
Can someone help in understanding the timelines of application processing. I applied for canada GC in Skilled Worker category in the month of May 2010 and sent the application to Sydney, NS Canada. In Nov 2010 I got my receipt notice asking to submit complete set of documents within 120days . And in month of Feb 2011 I submitted all the documents to Buffalo, NY USA consulate....So my question is in general how long it will take to hear back from them. And if I am having priority date, what it will be...

u have to wait as its long QUE. !
i have also submitted documents in Feb 2011...recieved one letter ( in July 2011 ) from UK that ur application has recieved and we r giving u new Application number ( i had previously old number as i sent first application to NS, canada).now i usually visit CIC.gc.ca/application status..but there status is written ( pending review )

same here. i applied in feb 2010 to NS. got my 2nd AOR in Aug 2010. My visaoffice is Paris. still no update.
