Need help in planning my move to canada

Dear members,

I am planning to visit Toronto in july for a week or two and return after completing the visa formalities . I Want to move permanently to Canada after sometime.Could you guys pls help me if this is possible or not and direct me to the relevant forums/information for the same.

If you have got Maple leaf on your passport, then yes its possible to go to Canada and do your formalities and come back, consider the staying arrangements and also a local address where you PR card will be delivered (in canada) rest check the thread mentioned in above reply by our friend.

Is it necessary to have the maple leaf on the passport, as we did not have one.....we are from singapore..
