Pre-Assessed..
HELLO EVERYBODY
I will be completing my 2 years of canadian experience by the end of april 2010 so I am gathering docs to apply under CEC and have a few questions, i would really appreciate if you could have a loook at document check list.

1. (About the proof of custudy mentioned in document check list's section-3, bullet-3. and letter from school in document check list's section-3, bullet-6)
My 7 years old only son is just in class 2, Do i need to submit these documents for him??

2 (about educational docs in document check list's section-5,)
I just did secondary so which docs of those do i submit??

3 (Most important question about T4 in in document check list's section-6, bullet-1)
In 2009, I worked just first 3 months of the year then the company was shut down due to recession, now joined new company in january 2010. I tried to contact to the employer he said he did not paied my 2009 taxes to cra. so i dont have T4 for 2009. though i calculated my income and filed my 2009 taxes so hopefully i would get NOTICE OF ASSESSMENT.
Can you advice me what should i do regarding this, is notice of assessment is enough or do i need to send a letter explaining why i am not sending recent T4 for 2009???

4. (About original letter of reference from my current and past employer, in document check list's section-6, bullet-2)
what do they by original, do i send original the ones i got from my employers no photocopy??

Thanks a lot in advance
Mike

1) S3,B3 - Don't know - someone with Kids should answer -

S3, B6 - this is only for dependent children age 22 and up...

2) If you have a secondary (high school) diploma, submit that. As well, if you have any training or apprenticeship certificates, submit those as well.

3) If you have already filed for tax year 2009, you should receive your Notice of Assessment in time. But the T4 is your proof of earnings. Yes, send a letter, but better if you have more documentation - Do you have payslips?

4) Yes, originals - no photocopies.

CEC Dream,

Please note that S3,B3 applies when you are separated/divorced from your spouse and a legal custody agreement exists for your child (that's how I understand it). If that applies to you, then you need to submit legal proof of custody. If you are a single parent but there is no legal custody agreement, you would still probably need written consent from his other parent explaining that the decision to immigrate with your minor is being made with his/her consent.
